It all started with a single ride.

Back in 2016, a small group of passionate bikers from Bangalore decided to escape the city's chaos for a weekend. They weren’t part of any club, didn’t have matching jackets, and had no fancy agenda. Just bikes, the open road, and the urge to explore. Among them was Sai Ganesh — a quiet, observant rider with a knack for finding hidden routes and connecting with strangers like old friends.

That trip to Chikmagalur wasn’t just about winding roads or scenic coffee estates — it was about the bond that formed around campfires, breakdowns, chai stops, and stories shared under starlit skies. It felt different. Real.

After that ride, they knew they had something special. So they decided to do it again. And again. Word spread. More riders joined. Some came for the thrill, others for the connection. Over time, ScoutRides was born — not as a club, but a tribe. A family built on trust, shared experiences, and a love for the journey over the destination.

From weekend rides to cross-country adventures, ScoutRides grew — one story, one ride, one rider at a time.

And it all started with a simple question:
"Where to next?"

2022 was the year we turned throttle dreams into real journeys.

After the pandemic slowed things down, we came back stronger, tighter, and hungrier for the road. ScoutRides kicked off the year with back-to-back weekend escapes — from misty sunrises at Kolli Hills to the winding curves of Agumbe, every ride brought new faces, stronger bonds, and unforgettable memories.

Behind the scenes, we quietly kept doing what we love most — supporting new riders, encouraging safe riding, and making sure no one ever rides alone. For us, every chai stop mattered, every breakdown was a bonding moment, and every rider became family.

By the end of 2023, we’d clocked over 40,000+ km together, welcomed over 120+ new riders in Community announcement , and created countless stories that still fuel our community today.

2023 wasn’t just about rides. It was about revival. Reconnection. And the road ahead.

They said Zanskar was remote.
They didn’t say the roads would vanish.

In July 2024, a mad crew of ScoutRider's set out on what would become one of the most challenging and unforgettable rides of the year — the SlipNSlide Adventure to Zanskar.

It wasn’t just the terrain — it was the journey.
Slushy trails that swallowed tyres, water crossings that tested nerves, and cliffside paths where one slip could mean a long fall into silence.

But where most would turn back, ScoutRiders slipped, slid, laughed, and kept going.

Led by Sarath Shenoy, the crew tackled Shinku La, tackled the notorious Zanskar loops, and crossed into Padum with cracked visors, muddy boots, and stories written in grit. Riders helped each other through breakdowns, high-altitude fatigue, and moments when the road quite literally disappeared under their wheels.

By the time they reached Zanskar, it wasn’t just about the destination — it was about what they became along the way.

SlipNSlide wasn’t just a name — it was a badge.
Of endurance, madness, and the unbeatable spirit of a tribe that rides together, no matter what the road throws at them.

ScoutRiders Official Chapter was born.

This wasn’t just about patches or protocols. It was about purpose, presence, and passing on the legacy of the road. With over 300+ rides under our belt, stories from every corner of India, and a growing network of passionate riders — it was time to give ScoutRiders a home base.
